储存条件 Lyophilized protein should be stored at -5~-20℃ for 1 year. Upon reconstitution, store at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week. Further dilute in a buffer containing a carrier protein or stabilizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 10% FBS, 5% HSA or 5% trehalose solution), protein aliquots should be stored at -5~-20℃ or -80℃ for 3-6 months.

背景介绍 Bone morphogenetic protein 8A (BMP8A) is a polypeptide member of the TGFβ superfamily of proteins. Like other BMPs, BMP8A is involved in the development of bone and cartilage. BMP8A may be involved in epithelial osteogenesis. It also plays a role in bone homeostasis. Human BMP?8a is synthesized as a large precursor protein that is cleaved at a dibasic cleavage site (RTPR) between aa residues 263 and 264 to release a 139 aa carboxy?terminal domain.
